II. Evolution of School Name

       In the years of 2001 and 2002, based on the 85^th session of the executive meeting of the People’s Government of Shuangliu

 County and the 117^thsession of the executive meeting of Shuangliu County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, in 

accordance with Document CJP (2002) No.3, the junior high section separated from Shuangliu Middle School was first named the 

Experimental School of Shuangliu Middle School,Sichuan”.

        In August 2006, in accordance with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Promotion of Private Education, upon the 

examination and approval from Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau, our school was renamed “the Experimental School of Shuangliu

Middle School, Chengdu”. Chengdu Municipal Education Bureau (Document CJSR <2006> No.19) also approved the establishment

 of “the Experimental School of Shuangliu Middle School, Chengdu”. The official seal of the school was changed, accordingly.

    The school name was inscribed by the famous calligrapher Qian Laizhong. The inscription has been used till now. Over the past 

15 years, with the care and support of the party committees and the governments at all levels and the hard work of all the teachers 

 and staff, the school has beenrecognized by the whole society and the brand of the school has been built. The school has become 

the first choice of the local people for their children’s junior high education. The local people call it “New Shuangliu Middle 

School” courteously.
